PrintWorks
at the American School for the Deaf (ASD) A full service print shop offering nonprofits and small
businesses competitive prices and quality service, PrintWorks
is also a place where ASD’s deaf and hard of hearing students
and Adult Vocational Services clients acquire experience and skills
that enhance their job-readiness and advance their education. 
At PrintWorks, students receive training in pre-press
operation, full color digital publishing and offset printing, as
well as hands-on experience in order processing, customer service,
data management, accounting, and other essential business processes.
ASD staff, with many years of experience in printing, graphic design
and desktop publishing, oversee order fulfillment and ensure that
deadlines and strict quality standards are met. Comprised of professionals
from the printing, graphic arts and business communities, the PrintWorks
Advisory Committee also provides important resources and expertise.
